The session, “Store of the Future: Beyond the Hype,” will be a lively discussion on Tuesday, October 2, on the emerging technologies that are transforming foodservice, from the Internet of Things to Big Data. Attendees will hear which employee-facing and customer-facing solutions are truly creating value for food retailers and restaurants. FSTEC attendees can see the OpSense platform in action at Mission Data’s booth (#520) to learn how easy-to-read dashboards, task management checklists, automated messaging and alerts, and enterprise reports combine to streamline operations and reduce costly waste. The latest version features a mobile app for Android to facilitate food safety line checks using a handheld thermometer. Designed for the foodservice industry, the OpSense platform can maximize productivity across operations, facilities, equipment, and workforce management.
